Tanya Strykhar

Tanya Strykhar was born and raised in Ukraine. She grew up between two worlds: one her boundless love to folk music, the other the years she spent learning and studying classical music. Since she was 3 music has been a part of her life. She graduated and got her degree in music and art. As a member of Ukrainian folk group “Beregynya” as well as a solo singer she participated and won numerous festivals and competitions around Europe. She moved to China and lived there for 10 years, attended many famous TV shows with her pop duo and performed at numerous events, festivals, music venues all over the country, travelled around Asia, Middle East and Latin America, where she performed and collaborated with different artists. She currently works as a vocal teacher in Estudio 21 in Madeira. She is passionate about art, yoga, healthy living and travels. She loves making friends and discovering different cultures.
